soo, what's been going on lately?

not an incredibly large amount to be honest. though i got, quite possibly, the funniest email from my dentist's office that i've seen in a long time. as you all know, my dad (i still love my dad haha) has a rather big mouth and likes to brag/talk/whatever. usually i think to draw attention to him (which i notice i do as well :[) but for the most part, my dad is infinitely better than i am at it.

for example.

he walks into the dentist's office recently, and, yells to everyone `my son is looking for a girl friend!!!`

for the record, i have not, nor will ever, announce something like that to my dad... so my blame lies somewhere bewteen my family, friends, and oscar, the cat.

needless to say, this got a rather impressive reaction. within (i presume) minutes i receive an email from my dental office with a rather peculiar announcement:

`We found the girl for you to marry and make your Mom and Dad very proud`

uh... huh. at first i thought, well hey, maybe there was this nice girl that came to get her teeth cleaned. coincidentally her father was with her as well and they started talking about how she's searching for this awesome-tall-asian-who-might-possibly-be-living-in-japan-but-will-come-home-soon kind of guy. hey, it could happen.

then i snapped back to reality and realized... i don't really talk about girls i like with my dentist...

and that's when i scrolled down the email and found this

yeaop. i have, no, comment.

but ok let's me honest, why is someone who lives in macau posting in `japancupid?` :P

alright, besides that, the title of this post is in reference to what i did last saturday with susie. we made our way to tokyo to watch the (there are many apparently) sumo tournaments. we also spent part of the day in asakusa (again for me, well her too), tokyo, and shinjuku. anyways, we get in, and it's a lot like, well sumo is a lot like a bunch of fat guys in loin cloths and salt.

don't get me wrong, very cultural, very respected in japan. i mean shit, we have wrestling ;P tight leather undies, or loin cloths and salt? i'd prefer neither to be honest.

to make it even better, i decided that a beer would be nice, and susie agreed. however, i downed it rather fast, and ended up passing out for about half an hour of the 90 minutes we were there... it was heaps fun though heh.

did i mention i paid about fifty bucks for a 30 minute nap and 60 minutes of fat guys in loincloths slapping each other and throwing salt?

go me!
