departure day
ok, it's 3:20 am, and i'm not packed yet, and files are still being transferred, and i can honestly tell you that i think it's finally hit me. not when this week was counting down or the final orientations or the good wishes and what not i've received in the last month and a half, but i think it boiled down to this; saying goodbye to the two people that mean the most in my life (not counting family of course), as in if i didn't know any better, i would believe without a doubt that we were brothers.
i can't imagine what awaits me in the near future, let alone in the next 5 hrs till i have to go to the airport, the 8 hrs where i will board a flight for 11 hrs or so, and the next 365 days where i will spend them in a country i've never been to and at best tried to pick up two years of it's language in the last four years of my life.
i know i promised that i would keep this to the minimum of blogging, but i think i'll make this one entry an exception. i look back from this moment thinking of all the great times i've had, knowing that i'm about to have the time of my life. i have no regrets.

1. jeff will get married. 100 - 1
2. jeff will get a gf. 3 - 2

5. jeff will do something um... let's just say inappropriate with an under aged minor in 10 days. (yeah i'll just keep giving you money)
6. the same as number 5, except in 5 days. (yeah... same as 5)

here are the following bets held on my head, that i am unable to take part in... (you bastards:P)

the intro stuffs
first and foremost, a great big heart-felt thanks to angela for letting me use her server for this; i despise those xanga/livejournal/blogging/othercrap etc. services, though i get the feeling i'm using one right now... ¬.¬
for those of you who do not know, this is the page where you can find everything that i see and experience while in japan - i'll do my best to keep out the blogging-type of atmosphere, but in a nut shell this is my daily workings and what not since i realize calling/visiting japan isn't exactly the cheapest thing in the universe.
also, by reading this paragraph you have agreed to my terms and rules stated below, as well as forfeiting your eternal soul to me.
basically i'm just going to let you all know that i do swear when i type - nothing quite equals the emotional experience of '...shit.' - and there will be some randomness (japanese text for instance) that if you have no idea what i'm referring to, then it doesn't pertain to you [target audience and what not]. all in all enjoy your reads.
and just on a random note, if i ever feel so motivated as to actually learn html [you all know this probably won't happen], i'll make minor adjustments here and there along the way. i have a year right? ^^
and yes i'm aware i make a lot of spelling errors, but this is my 'blog' so :Þ.
